The CCHA has learned of the death of a long-time member, Sheila Mary Ross in Calgary late last year.
Sheila had a late vocation in history and wrote several pieces for our journal in the 1990s, focusing on the work of the Benedictines in Western Canada as well as the Catholic Women’s League. Her obituary called her a “lifelong learner” who was a “tireless advocate for the welfare of others and a respected church and historical scholar.” Sheila was 89.
