At the 2024 Annual General Meeting, the members of the CCHA voted unanimously to change the name of Historical Studies to the Canadian Journal of Catholic History.
The journal has had a few names changes over it’s 90 year history, and Editor Peter Ludlow believes this latest appellation best reflects its evolving focus. The journal will continue to publish peer-reviewed articles not only on the history of Catholicism and Catholics in Canada, but globally as well. Submission guidelines can be found on our website.
The 2024 inaugural issue of the CJCH will be in members’ mailboxes soon. The Canada Post strike significantly impacted the delivery of this issue, but the editorial team believes it will be well worth the wait!
