The CCHA is pleased to congratulate long-time member, and current Treasurer, Mark G. McGowan on his election to the Royal Society of Canada. Mark’s election was in recognition of his “original and innovative research methodology” which has “resulted in pioneering publications on the Irish diaspora in the North Atlantic world, sectarian relations, religious education, and Irish Famine orphans.”
