At its 2023 Annual General Meeting, the CCHA appointed Richard LeBrun as its Honorary President. Richard Lebrun served as President of the CCHA from 1968-1970, and was editor of the journal, and winner of the Clerk Award. The office of Honorary President has been vacant since the passing of Cardinal Maurice Roy in 1985.
The motion to appoint him Honorary President of the CCHA was moved by Mark McGowan and seconded by Elizabeth Smyth.
