At the 2014 annual meeting the Canadian Catholic Historical Association awarded the Paul Bator Award for the best article published in Historical Studies in 2012 and 2013 to Michael Wilcox for his 2013 article, “’To Meet More Perfectly the Wants of Our People Here’: The Christian Brothers and the Process of Anglicization in Ontario, 1850-1925.” The judges also awarded Honourable Mention to Catherine Foisy for her 2012 article, Preparing the Québec Church for Vatican II: Lessons from Asia, Africa, and Latin America, 1945-1962.”
