Don’t miss the historic stained glass windows while touring Victoria’s Parliament buildings and take time to visit their Gift Shop.  You will be glad you did.

Emily Carr’s statue can be found in the park just adjacent to the Empress Hotel.

The Gift Shop inside the Empress sells packages of scone mixtures perfect for a reasonably sized and priced souvenir but there are many items there to choose from. Consider having them shipped home right from the gift shop!

I especially enjoyed an early morning walk along the sign-pathed walkway of Fisherman’s Wharf which leads into the downtown core. The shops of Victoria have that noted English feel of wooden store fronts, displays of chocolates and lots of tea.  Try to linger in the city before or after our meetings.
